New York, NY — Halloween Adventure, the city's premier Halloween destination, is proud to announce the growth of its creative initiative: The Alter Mind Collective.

For decades, Halloween Adventure has been more than just a store—it has been a cultural hub and community landmark in Manhattan since the mid-1980s. What began as a seasonal shop has evolved into a year-round destination for creators, artists, and fans of Halloween and alternative culture. Today, the store averages $3 million in annual revenue and serves a vibrant community spanning ages 18 to 65, including artists, students, performers, and entertainment professionals.

About Alter Mind Collective

The Alter Mind Collective is a collaboration built on that legacy. It brings together shops, artists, creators, and performers to host immersive events, creative markets, and unique cultural experiences. Founding partners include:

• Halloween Adventure - New York City's largest and most established Halloween shop.
• The HOF Shop - A minority-owned small business specializing in handmade merchandise, artist collaborations, and event promotions.
• Intergalactic Creations - Led by renowned NYC-based special effects artist Rita, whose bold face and body art transforms guests into zombies, monsters, and otherworldly beings.
• Brandon Tyler Productions -“ Headed by Brandon Tyler, producer of one of Queens' most recognized live haunts.

Together, these partners have already produced a series of successful events showcasing artistry, performance, and community collaboration. Each event grows stronger and more focused, blending entertainment with cultural expression.

Looking Ahead

While the Collective will pause hosting in-store events during the busy Halloween season, preparations are underway for even larger and more ambitious experiences to follow. These future events will continue to highlight the synergy between costume, performance, makeup artistry, and creative entrepreneurship.
